The Stuart Air Show highlights the importance of aviation and the service of Veterans while providing hundreds of opportunities for children to learn about aviation, American history and about the Armed Forces. This award winning event is celebrating its 30th Anniversary in 2019. More than just a show, it is a three-day event featuring thrilling performances by nationally known performers as well as interesting and historical static displays of aircraft and vehicles.
From aviation enthusiasts and military veterans to families looking for a weekend activity, all can appreciate what the air show brings: the nostalgia of historic static displays, the sophistication of modern-day aircraft, and the roar of military jets and thrills of aerobatic performances. Festivities kick off on Nov. 1 with a spectacular night show and fireworks display as well as the exclusive TD Bank Dirty Flight Suit Party. The “Race the Runway 5K” is back by popular demand allowing runners the chance to race through Martin County Airport in the hours before the show on Nov. 3.
This year the event is taking a hands on approach to cultivating the love of aviation with the introduction of STEAM World! This new component will offer educational enhancements for children of all ages, including elements such as virtual reality displays, robotics and drone demonstrations. On Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3, make sure to check the event guide for STEAM World activities. There will be scheduled events for children Pre-K through High School as well as various STEAM related challenges on both days. Each day will have a different schedule, leaving your children wanting more. General Admission tickets are required for STEAM World, youth tickets are $5 and children under 6 are free.
Pre-sale tickets are available online at www.stuartairshow.com. General admission tickets start at $25 per day for adults and $5 for children (age 6-12) and military. The TD Bank Dirty Flight Suit Party ticket is $115 per person. The Race the Runway 5K is $45. General admission ticket prices increase the days of the show.
