18th Annual Downtown Stuart Craft Festival

Description: Over the years, this festival has grown to one of the summer's most anticipated festivals in this area located in Martin County, just north of Palm Beach County in Stuart. The show is set up along Osceola Street in Stuart's historic downtown area. This event brings together some of the best crafters in the nation with paintings, wooden sculptures, ceramics, one-of-a-kind jewelry, handmade baskets and much, much more. An expansive Green Market complements the weekend with plants, orchids, tangy BBQ sauces, and homemade soaps.

19th Annual Taste of Martin County

4th Annual- Stuart Energy Festival

Description: PictureThe City of Stuart will be holding our 4th Annual- Stuart Energy Festival at Memorial Park on East Ocean Boulevard, from 11AM to 5PM on April 18, 2015. It is an opportunity to learn about energy conservation, energy efficiency and alternative energy technologies with a showcase of local resources such as businesses, organizations and networks that can be utilized to decrease our dependence on nonrenewable energy sources.

Energy efficiency is a growing concern because of the deep impact on the environment. There will be workshops on topics ranging from off-grid living and energy efficiency tips to home composting and the local food movement. The main focus of the workshops we are offering is to give people the information they need to become energy efficient and to use renewable energy sources
.

The Stuart Energy Fest will enrich, educate and provide entertainment, including music, food, art and children’s activities.

Naturalist Led Refuge Trail Hikes at the Hobe Sound Nature Center

Every Thursday January-April ~ 9:30 am

No reservations are required to explore native habitats at the Refuge with a naturalist. Meet in the exhibit hall to learn about the flora and fauna that call the Indian River Lagoon, coastal hammock and sand pine scrub their home. Keep an eye out for gopher tortoises, scrub lizards, manatees, eagles, ospreys and other birdlife along the way!

The Man Who Came to Dinner
