Guided Tours are not the only option...pick up a map at the Chamber and rent a bike from Village Bike Shop or try walking or driving yourself.

Since 2009, this ‘paint-the-town’ initiative, spearheaded by professional artist Nadia Utto, has provided opportunities to spend some time ‘on-the-wall’ contributing a personal touch to the local ambiance, for over 40 skilled regional artisans and hobbyists, along with approximately 100 individual residents and visitors.

There are fun ‘treasure-hunt’ hidden aspects painted within each mural…. So stop by the Chamber for a Mural Tour Map/Brochure – and walk, bike, drive or take a sponsored tour to and around these landmarks!

Building owners, business tenants and community residents support the overall effort, none-the-less the majority of this work to date has been performed with modest honorariums and as a labor-of-love…

Stuart Sailfish Regatta

Get ready for an exciting weekend with hydroplanes, race boats and powerboats competing for prize money and bragging rights.
Organizers are planning a weekend of speed, excitement and community involvement. With increased attendance and sponsorship support, SSR plans to increase their support to the designated charities, the Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast and the US Sailing Center.

The races will once again be held on the Stuart Causeway on a 1.1-mile oval racecourse on the northern side of the bridge. The new expanded site will allow for more vendors and activities, including live music, and the ultimate spectator viewing area on top of the bridge. Visitors can expect a new and improved layout overall and additional food, beverage and customer services.

The race is sanctioned by the American Power Boat Association. The regatta will be open to ten classes of inboards, four classes of outboards and the Powerboat P1 SuperStock Series. Some of the nation's top-tier racers plus a power team of 12 or more Canadian Grand Prix race boats will bring even more adrenaline pumping action to the water.
